Popcorn hulls are insidious... Strolling along our gum lines like they own the place, parkouring away from our tongues until we are filled with rage. I don't even think the birth of my first child will approach the sense of accomplishment I feel when I've freed a kernel.
I had to renew my tags and leave my coffee in the truck. Also, there are no visible clocks anywhere in the DMV, and without my phone on me to tell the time, I was truly in purgatory.
I don't often draw multi-panel comics, but some ideas require them. Because At Random appears in my collegiate paper, I have a certain set of dimensions to go by. After graduation, I will be free to create, longer vertical strips from time to time.

For the past four years I've been making comics for Oregon State University's paper The Daily Barometer. I've really enjoyed my time at OSU and the many great newspaper staffers I've met.
This was based on a real-life backscratch.
My roommate recently adopted a cat from a rescue shelter and we've already become dear friends. I'm almost positive that if I had been present at the shelter, this would have been the outcome.
Have a good weekend! New posts will resume on Monday.
